can i pump you a litre or two of chablis? for all you red wine lovers out there, this cool invention may soon be in north america. drawing from either 500 or 1000 litre tanks, you can actually pump your own wine. and it's cheap too. just a few bucks per litre. this is the case because the tank cuts down on costly wine transportation and packaging, which often amount to most of the cost when buying wine. soon the question will be, would you like one jug, or two?

ace&jig is a new label from designers cary vaughan and vancouverite jenna wilson. their first collaboration was on a brand called larok, which killed in hollywood. the new collection from the brooklyn-based company is entirely constructed from yarn-dyed cotton-linen, developed with an indian weaver overseas. check out a few pieces (pictured above) and visit the site @ ace&jig

this is a great women's and men's accessory and apparel company based out of montreal, canada! they started off focusing just on jewelry and have branched into different styles of clothing as well. their jewelry is very focused and highlights a grungy sophisticated style. i had a chance to meet the owner + head designer, mary-eve ruel @ the know show clothing convention in vancouver. she was super down to earth and very inspiring with her story. she started out as a designer for the company and in time worked her way up to buying the company outright. she is taking the company very far and you should check out the store @ uranium
